State Street to Provide Investment Manager Operations Outsourcing Services to Morgan Stanley Investment Management for $300 Billion in Assets

Builds on 40-Year Relationship to Provide Morgan Stanley Investment Management With Global Investment Services and New Product Solutions

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- State Street Corporation (NYSE: STT), one of the world's leading providers of financial services to institutional investors, announced today that it has been appointed by Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) to provide investment manager operations outsourcing services for approximately $300 billion in assets.

Building on its 40-year relationship, State Street will provide MSIM with global outsourcing services including trade settlement, portfolio administration and reporting and reconciliation services for a majority of MSIM's assets under management. As a result of this mandate, State Street will assume approximately 100 employees globally from MSIM and will support MSIM's needs globally.
